A graduate of the University of Ottawa, where she earned an Honours Degree in Communication and Business Administration, Nikki began her professional career in banking before pursuing her true passion for real estate. Since then, she has dedicated herself fully to mastering the industry combining sharp negotiation skills, market expertise, and thoughtful client service to consistently exceed expectations.
Having lived in the Halton Region for most of her life, Nikki offers deep local knowledge and a genuine connection to the community she serves. Fluent in Czech, she brings strong communication skills and cultural understanding that allow her to connect effortlessly with a diverse range of clients.
With a refined eye for design and a natural understanding of how presentation impacts value, Nikki brings added expertise to every listing. From strategic staging recommendations to thoughtful design guidance and preparation for sale, she helps her clients position their homes to stand out and command top dollar. Her passion for homebuilding and design recently came full circle when she and her husband, Jay, completed and moved into their custom dream home in Milton. This experience further strengthens her insight when advising clients through buying, selling, building, or investing.
Outside of real estate, Nikki finds joy in hosting dinner parties, experimenting in the kitchen, discovering new restaurants, snowboarding, hiking with her husband Jay and their Bernedoodles River & Ellie, and travelling the world
Todd is an award winning Real Estate Broker and one half of The Preferred Pair Team. A resident of Burlington for the past 20 years Todd resides in the Aldershot neighborhood and has three children Riley, Evy, Meredith and our mini Golden Doodle, Theo.
After a successful career in a transportation & Logistics, Todd has been a licensed real estate agent for 13 years, the last 10 years with his business partner Nikki. As a commitment to ethics and professionalism, Todd recently acquired his Broker designation.
Todd is well know for his sense of humor, honesty, communication and getting results for his clients. He will often say that the clients satisfaction is the sign of success in real estate as referrals are the driving force of his and the Preferred Pair’s business.
Todd loves to golf, cook, have a cold one or two, loves all sports, history and watching documentaries.
They say you may forget some people but you never forget your realtor and Todd strives to make a positive and lasting impression on everyone he meets.
Sam is a licensed REALTOR® with the Preferred Pair team. Over the last year as our administrative manager, she has learned the fast-paced real estate industry and has fallen in love with it. Her work ethic, attention to detail, and positive attitude have made her an invaluable part of the team. Now fully licensed, she’s excited to help clients navigate the market with confidence and care. Her hunger for knowledge and eagerness to grow continue to drive her success.
In 2022, she graduated on the Dean’s List from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. For the last six years, she has worked in the food and beverage industry, where she has worn many hats, from lead bartender to marketing manager.
Naturally, she has a passion for all things food and drink. She is particularly interested in wine and has obtained her level two sommelier certification. Need a wine suggestion? She is your girl! Sam also loves to travel, eat spicy food, and host her family and friends.
She was born and raised in Milton and genuinely loves the community and its people. Her dream is to own a property in the country that houses a few of her favourite farm animals.
